  1. I would like to email an original article tilted “Re-contextualizing Safety Culture through Behaviour Based Safety in Industry” for publication in JEET.

About the Author – Dr. Harbans Lal Kaila, earned his Masters’ degree in Psychology from Guru Nanak Dev University, Doctorate from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, is a retired Professor of Psychology with 30 years professional experience, published books/articles and participated in national/international conferences. He is an Emeritus Professor at JJT University, Rajasthan, and BBS project director at GAIL India. Dr Kaila is a resource person for several organizations such as ITC, ESSAR, Reliance Industries, Colourtex, Reliance Energy, Ultratech, Chambal Fertilizers, Sandoz, Tata Motors, M&M, Billimoria, BPCL, ONGC, Suzlon, TUV, Bajaj Auto, Bayer CropScience, Serum, SMC, NPC, SAIL, GE, IOCL, BHEL, Oil India Ltd, HPCL, HCC, Kalpatru, CTEA, Greentech Industries, Vedanta, L&T, RCF, Amara-Raja, Hindalco, Ampacet and also conducted almost 100 organizational surveys for various locations in India. • Dr. Kaila, thank you for your interest. However your paper does not appear suitable to a journal on engineering education transformations.
      Best, Krishna Vedula

  2. I wish the topic of Behavioral safety to be included in the engineering education courses, that is why, I think, my article would be useful for all students of engineering.

  3. 5S is a Japanese philosophy of shop floor management. It has an implicit behavioral safety built into it and is used as skill development and training. Does this behavioral safety course addresses any such specific engineering facility (like shop floor) or sector (like manufacturing) or a training philosophy (like processes and tools)? Interested to know more. Thanks.
